Raising the Bar

I make no secret of being partial, on occasion, to somethig a little stronger than a beer! Rikke took the old cabinet left by the previous owners, gave it a coat of paint and some inner wallpaper and... bingo! Drinks are served!

The boys are back in town...

For some reason Braden seems to always bring the weather with him... This time he also brought Tony and Phantom.

While Braden, Luke and Rikke slept off their hangovers, Tony and I went out and saw a ruined castle outside Aarhus.

Easter in Freiburg

Happy Easter or Frohliche Ostern as they say in Germany! We have spent the weekend down in Freiburg visiting Diane. Freiburg is in southern Germany only about 30 km from the Swiss border and in the Black Forest region. This is a catholic area so you can be sure that we did not get to sleep in as the Easter bells started tolling pretty early.


We hired a car and took a drive in the hills around the town. There was some snow still around but spring had definitely sprung down there... We picked up some great wine and also a couple of bottles of spirits at German prices. These wil come in very handy for Rikke's Birthday party on the 28th...
